chicken fillet in beer batter with vegetables

Today is the last day of me lazing about. So I decided to create something that would be on the one hand yummy, and on the other hand – unconventional.

What do we need?
500 g chicken fillet
One pack of frozen vegetables
3 cloves of garlic
Salt, pepper
150g of pasta (of your choice)
2 spoons of grated mozzarella
1 spoon of roasted sunflower seeds
½ spoon of flax-seeds

BATTER:
4 spoons of flour
1 egg
¾ glass of beer

1.The first step is to prepare our batter. It’s similar to pancake dough. Break the egg in a bowl and we beat it with the mixer. Next, very slowly, add beer – while still mixing the dough. Then, slowly add flour and mix everything until a uniform mix is achieved.

2. In the meantime, boil the pasta and defrost the vegetables on the pan covered with a lid.

3.Wash the meat and cut it into medium-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Heat the oil on the pan. The meat will be deep-fried. Soak every piece of meat in the batter and put it on the pan. Fry it till it reaches a nice golden colour. After frying you may place the meat on a paper towel. It’s a nice way to get rid of the excess of oil.

5. Boil and drain the pasta and add it to the pan with vegetables. Add also some pressed or chopped garlic and stew everything (without the lid) for about 5-7 minutes.

6. Add sunflower seeds, flax-seed and mozzarella to the pan with the vegetables. Cover it for 2 minutes – so that the cheese melts.

7. Lay out on the plates…

It’s ready – bon appetit!
